FORMATION
The process for providing weather forecasts is a long and tortuous one. I spent several years liaising with the forecasters and helped build the first purpose-built studio. Kieran Morgan had the patience of job setting it all up.

The BBC had had a long standing good relationship with the Meteorological Office. Gone were the days of hand written presentation charts; when I joined magnetic graphics were the order of the day.
